Day 6 at Sea

Pretty much on sea days we hang out in the sun... eat more food (like we didn't eat enough)... drink... and take pictures.
The last night we went to a really nice dinner in the fine dining resturant called David's. The food was great. Dessert was amazing. Jason even enjoyed a plate of French cheeses. We rolled back to the room, but it was so worth it.
Day 7 Bigz and Hutch picked us up at the docks and brought us home. My dress still hanging in the closet... bobbie pins on the floor where I left them and we are married... weird it was all already over. We just kept saying... "Baby, We're married"

Day 5- Cabo

Day 5 we arrived in Cabo. We decided since we have not been snorkeling we would go in Cabo. Again we took an all inclusive boat so on the way back it was open bar. We went snorkeling. I did not get a picture of us in our masks. Jason jumped in the water too fast. It was beautiful and lots of fish.

Day 4 Mazatlan

Based upon the excursions that were available we decided we would just head out and shop a little on our own... a mistake. AS soon as we got off the boat we were bombarded with people approaching us to tour their resort, take us on tours ect. We grab a taxi and head toward the shopping area. As soon as we got out of the taxi (which was a death trap, but we made it) people were approaching us to get them to buy their stuff. It was hot... and we just were not prepared. So we hit 1 bar for a beer. Then walked a little and hit another place for a beer and a snack...
The view from our table was beautiful. Then we headed back to the boat.

Honeymoon Day 3- Puerto Vallarta

Day 3 we arrived in Puerto Vallarta. We decided to do one of the excursions. We went to this place called Las Caletas. It's a secluded beach area. The boat ride over was about 45 minutes - 1 hour. Luckily all drinks were included. First thing, lunch was served. We had a great little barbecue lunch. Then Jason and I jumped in the water. The weather was warm and the water was enjoyable. We then booked a massage. We both have to say it was one of the best massages of our lives. After the massage, we were so relaxed we went down to the beach and fell asleep in these beach chairs they had.

After the excursion we shopped a little and stopped for a Margarita (bad news) and a appetizer.

Honeymoon Day 1-2 At Sea

Day 1 and 2 of our Honeymoon. For those who dont know we went on a Carnival Cruise to Mexico. Days 1 and 2 we were at sea on our way to Puerto Vallarta. Here are pictures of us boarding the boat and then of our awesome room.

Friday Oct 10th- Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner

Well thank goodness this was just the rehearsal day... it was crazy. Once it hit 2:30pm my phone started ringing off the hook with people asking questions, wanting last minute details, asking about music it was a little crazy and overwhelming.

At Ole Hanson, everything started to fall into place and life became much more simple.

Once rehearsal was over we had a little cocktail break on the way to Del Agave Restuarant.

The rehearsal dinner was so nice. Hutch pulled us all together in a welcome toast/roast. The food was great. The atmosphere very relaxed and enjoyable. Scott and Jenn Hutcheon put together a slide show for everyone to watch.

Here are some pictures I have been sent:

Oct 4th Bachlorette party night

Since of course I have more information and pictures... I'll show you some of the night :)
Saturday night we started at the Surf and Sand hotel in Laguna. Jenn and Peaches decorated the room.

From the surf and sand we walked down to El Ranchito for dinner where we all had out own penis straws to help us suck down our margaritas.

After closing the restaurant, we went to the Sandpiper for dancing.
Then to bed about 3am like perfect angels (well after getting monster tacos from Jack in the box).
Sunday Morning: Lingerie Shower... those pictures are staying with me :)

Oct 3-4 Bachelor Party Weekend

Jason's Bachelor Party weekend:

Started Friday night. A group of guys came to the house to kidnap him and take him K1 racing. They hid upstairs until he came home, then dressed him up and out the door they went

Saturday morning another group of guys met up at Bigz and Hutch's home where the headed to Pappa Z's for breakfast then to the horse races and ended up at the Trump Casino... or at least that's what I'm told... I don't have any pictures from this excursion :)
But Jason had a great time. Slept most of the afternoon Sunday when he got home.

For those just checking in

So you don't have to dig through all the past entries if you don't want to. Here is some info:

We are at Ole Hanson Beach Club, San Clemente for the ceremony and reception (405 south exit Pico and turn towards the beach)
We are registered at Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond
Beach Formal Attire

We are so excited for you to be a part of our big Day! oh Saturday Oct 11th is the big day :)

2 more Saturdays left to prepare

Can you believe we are three weeks away? Um can you say crunch time... Actually though it's not to "crunchy" so far.

We're finalizing a few details.

Jason and I went in today to try on his suit and get the pants and jacket fitted.
We are just about to finish up the announcements
I'm working on the program and day of schedule and the seating
I have my final fitting next Saturday the 27th.
That same day we'll pick up the bridal party's Rainbows
And that's about it except for the odds and ends which always pop up.

For those who want to know: my ankle is healing. There's been plenty of ice, advil, ankle exercises and rest in the last week. I can walk close to 100% normal. I can point my foot and do ankle circles with no pain. Its still a little swollen but mostly just bruised and ugly. At least my dress goes all the way to the ground so you won't be able to see it if it's still a little ugly.

We're so excited.

Bridal Shower part duex

Thank you all ladies who were able to attend. I had a really great time playing Bride and then Bride Bride (Lucky Lady Sue Neve) and doing the little bit of catching up we could do. I am so excited to start using your gifts. I don't have my pictures downloaded yet but hopefully I'll get some pictures up shortly (especially with the toole and the bow bouquet). I'm just feeling it's "priceless".

Thank you to Bonnie and Sara for coordinating and Steve and Bryan for being the muscle.

Attire Questions??? Beach Formal Please

What does Beach Formal mean? I dont know what to wear? Here is a copy of an article from The knot.com website

Beach Formal: This suggests an elegant beach wedding -- so dress to impress, but also dress for the elements (sun, sand, and water). Anything you would wear to a nice restaurant on a summer day is appropriate.
Him: Summer suit and sandals.
Her: A more formal summer sundress with flat sandals

We are not actually on the beach (although you will have a breath taking view during cocktail hour) but we will be on grass for the ceremony.

If you still have questions please don't hesitate to contact myself or Jason.

If more info helps:
Groomsmen: black pinstripe suits with rainbow sandals
Bridesmaids: Eggplant strapless dresses with rainbow sandals

Most of all though come ready to dance. Look forward to seeing you there.

Back from Vacation

The vacation break was exactly what I needed. The Maui was amazing. Absolutely beautiful, relaxing and fun to spend time eating great food, sunning and playing a new game "liars dice" with family.

Oh and I do have to say I did accomplish a couple of goals while on vacation, the most important of course (and was actually harder than I thought it would have been) ... getting rid of tan lines that would show with my dress.

Dress Arrived n much more (6 weeks to go)

Hi, Sorry I left the blog hanging. It was like a whirlwind the past 2 weeks. My dress finally came. It was the right dress... in the right color... actually a little big. Invitations were finished up and mailed. Centerpieces and stems were ordered. And then tonight I think we picked our rehersal dinner location... almost done with all planning

all just in time to go on vacation. I will be offline for a couple weeks. It's a 10 day brain break from most wedding planning. I will be checking email if you would like to email me
jamie15jo@hotmail.com

Talk to you in a couple weeks.

Not here yet... yeah... not kidding

I have been told my dress left New York and they are saying it's being overnighted. I am keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow or Wednesday...

Actually I feel fairly calm about it. I do like being able to vent on the blog. It's a form of stress relief. deep breath... ok ready to move along.

Still getting out...

We are in the middle of crunch time... In the past 2 weeks we have conquered the date for the dress, the suits, the invitations and the walk thru with the caterers... in the next week we will have the first fitting, mailing of the invitations, finalizing the flowers...

But thanks to mom and dad we still were able to get in an Angles game last week.

Thank you for distracting me... I mean us :)
