Baby Girl Update from 8/20

So I had another dr appointment today. All is going well. We did a quick ultrasound (no new pictures though). Her head is getting lower and in position. There is plenty of amniotic fluid. 2 arms and 2 legs, very active thing. Dr James said everything looked great and great with the umbilical cord. Heart rate is good and within range. So I go back again in 2 weeks then we start going weekly. Dr James is still planning on a 40 week term which would be the Sept 25th due date but did go over a couple things to watch for and if they happen to call him because I probably am going into labor.

Jason and I started our child birthing classes this week and I have started practicing my relaxation breathing. I am getting some of the Braxton Hicks false contractions but nothing too frequent. we have baby CPR class on Monday, more child birthing class Tuesday then we have a consult with our first pediatrician Wednesday... So yup pretty much all baby baby baby on the brain right now.

All is good though and she's a happy girl in there... well at least that's how I interpret all her kicks and punches :)

6-7 weeks to go...

We had our 32 week ultrasound last Thursday. All went well. She's looking like a very heathly little girl. They took a bunch of measurements of her head, kidneys, humerus, femur ect. All were good size. They viewed her heart and they got a great picture of all 4 chambers for the doctor. And Yes they did re-verify again she is still a girl . After putting all her measurements into the system they said she's about 4 lbs 11oz and in the 73rd Percentile. Her head is towards my left lower belly and her behind is up near my right ribs with her back up. So she's kicking and punching alot toward the middle to right side of my lower belly- which now what I know that make more sense with what I have been feeling except when Jason got punched in the cheek, but that was just funny. The ultrasound technician and then the follow up doctor said based upon her size they would estimate her arrival possibly closer to Sept 16th...My boss has been trying to convince her that she needs to come late so I would be here for the beginning of Oct Training sessions that will be occuring. I just say she's going to come when she wants to- we just have to wait and see. Attached are a couple of the better pictures they took yesterday. The first one is actually a 3D image so you can see a little more of her face and the 2nd picture is a regular ultrasound picture but they said she was blowing bubbles so it's cute. 6-7 weeks to go...
