She's so big already.

Morning Tummy Time

Jolene slept until 6:15 this morning... YEAH!!! Pray we can keep that as our wake up time.


After diaper change, morning breakfast and a little play time in bed, Jolene and I came downstairs as daddy hit the snooze. We practiced a little tummy time, a little back time, bounced in the bouncer while mommy did a couple chores then back to the floor for some more tummy time because we really didn't like the bouncer this morning.


As you can see at the bottom all this activity is exhausting and she's now taking a nap. Stars in daddys chair sleeping. Mommy is happy. Now I can get the house picked up before the cleaning lady gets here :)

So I really dont want Jolene to be a thumb sucker, but when she falls asleep like this all I can do it take pictures.

Our new teething toy

Jolene might be teething a little early so we got this great Giraffe from Great Grandma. Jolene is able to hold it and likes gumming it. Its got a sqeaker noise to it though so we have to make sure Star doesn't get it. The first day Star I had Jolene in the recliner chair with it. I walked into the kitchen and came back and Star had it on the floor... needless to say Star got a spanking, the giraffe went into the sink to be washed a couple times and Jolene gets to use it in her bouncer chair when mommy is watching.

Beginning of December. 2 months old now

Jolene's Frst Sporting Event- GO WVU

WVU was playing at the Anaheim Convention Center in a basketball tournament. Jolene was there to cheer them to their Victory. And she stayed awake almost the whole game :)

Jolene's First Thanksgiving

Jolene's first Thanksgiving:

Started bright and early with the Turkey Trot in Dana Point. She slept the whole 5K walk.

After the trot we went back to my parents house for the day. Mommy got in a shower then it was snack time... after which she fell back to sleep with Great Grandma JoAnn.

Jolene woke up just before Turkey dinner for some play with Aunty Jenn and Uncle Steve, and for a diaper and costume change (it was so hot) and of course some eats.

Then about 1/2 way through the adults Turkey dinner it was back to nap time. After dinner we tried to wake her by putting her on the baby boppy for tummy time... she just kept on sleeping.

Miraculously Jolene still slept that night.
