I have collected a couple of pictures from the past 3 weeks. :) I will disclose tons of information and update the blog soon, but here is a picture in the mean time:

10 days to go...

Well I've had my final fitting
I'm doing my run through on hair and make up this week
Our Bachlorette and Bachelor Parties are this Saturday

Table assignments are done and waiting second signatures
We are working on the program and of course fine tuning the day of schedule
Finalizing the music
Picking up the marriage license this week

We're making good progress and on track to having everything completed this week so then we are only working on loose ends or mishaps.

It's so close... so exciting... are you as excited as I am

For those just checking in

So you don't have to dig through all the past entries if you don't want to. Here is some info:

We are at Ole Hanson Beach Club, San Clemente for the ceremony and reception (405 south exit Pico and turn towards the beach)
We are registered at Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond
Beach Formal Attire

We are so excited for you to be a part of our big Day! oh Saturday Oct 11th is the big day :)

2 more Saturdays left to prepare

Can you believe we are three weeks away? Um can you say crunch time... Actually though it's not to "crunchy" so far.

We're finalizing a few details.

Jason and I went in today to try on his suit and get the pants and jacket fitted.
We are just about to finish up the announcements
I'm working on the program and day of schedule and the seating
I have my final fitting next Saturday the 27th.
That same day we'll pick up the bridal party's Rainbows
And that's about it except for the odds and ends which always pop up.

For those who want to know: my ankle is healing. There's been plenty of ice, advil, ankle exercises and rest in the last week. I can walk close to 100% normal. I can point my foot and do ankle circles with no pain. Its still a little swollen but mostly just bruised and ugly. At least my dress goes all the way to the ground so you won't be able to see it if it's still a little ugly.

We're so excited.

Bridal Shower part duex

Thank you all ladies who were able to attend. I had a really great time playing Bride and then Bride Bride (Lucky Lady Sue Neve) and doing the little bit of catching up we could do. I am so excited to start using your gifts. I don't have my pictures downloaded yet but hopefully I'll get some pictures up shortly (especially with the toole and the bow bouquet). I'm just feeling it's "priceless".

Thank you to Bonnie and Sara for coordinating and Steve and Bryan for being the muscle.

Attire Questions??? Beach Formal Please

What does Beach Formal mean? I dont know what to wear? Here is a copy of an article from The knot.com website

Beach Formal: This suggests an elegant beach wedding -- so dress to impress, but also dress for the elements (sun, sand, and water). Anything you would wear to a nice restaurant on a summer day is appropriate.
Him: Summer suit and sandals.
Her: A more formal summer sundress with flat sandals

We are not actually on the beach (although you will have a breath taking view during cocktail hour) but we will be on grass for the ceremony.

If you still have questions please don't hesitate to contact myself or Jason.

If more info helps:
Groomsmen: black pinstripe suits with rainbow sandals
Bridesmaids: Eggplant strapless dresses with rainbow sandals

Most of all though come ready to dance. Look forward to seeing you there.

Back from Vacation

The vacation break was exactly what I needed. The Maui was amazing. Absolutely beautiful, relaxing and fun to spend time eating great food, sunning and playing a new game "liars dice" with family.

Oh and I do have to say I did accomplish a couple of goals while on vacation, the most important of course (and was actually harder than I thought it would have been) ... getting rid of tan lines that would show with my dress.
